About.

Introduction

I'm a first-generation college student from Wildwood, Florida (a small town next door to The Villages). I aim for my career to have a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals from disadvantaged communities, especially those facing educational inequality. My goal is to attend law school and become a public interest attorney. I'm seeking experiences in these fields, and looking forward to learning more each day!

This e-portfolio is also part of my involvement in the University Research Scholars Program (URSP). See the Relevant Coursework, Journal, and Research tabs for URSP-required content.

Academic Background

I'm a graduate from Wildwood Middle High School, where I completed my AICE Cambridge Diploma with Distinction. I also gained 20+ college credits by being dual-enrolled at Lake-Sumter State College. Now at UF, I've completed my first year of coursework and plan to continue challenging myself academically. I am double majoring in Psychology and Public Relations, with a specialization in Public Interest Communications, and I am on the pre-law track.

Extracurricular Engagements

Beyond the classroom, I've been involved in various extracurricular activities that have enriched my university experience. From student organizations to volunteer work, these engagements have shaped me into a well-rounded individual with a holistic approach to education.
